Thank you for stopping by our Club website.
Many of you are asking us about the recent Tornado that hit us here in Granbury.
Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions.
Q. Did the tornado hit near either of your Club Sites?
A. Unfortunately yes. The tornado hit very close to our Rancho Brazos Clubhouse.
Q. How many members of the Club were impacted?
A. The tornado destroyed many homes of our members. While information is still coming in we believe that 73 of members sustained damage to their homes and we are very sad to report that 41 of our members lost their homes because of the storm.
Q. Is the Club still standing?
A. Yes. While it sustained quite a bit of damage, the Clubhouse is still standing. The roof is damaged, many windows are broken among other damage, but we are proud to say that many of the emergency personnel have been using the Clubhouse, including the Red Cross during this time of rebuilding.
Q. What is the Club doing to help?
A. We are serving the members from Rancho Brazos currently and through the rest of the school year at Acton Elementary School. We are serving ANYONE in need because of this storm with donations collected at our Resale Shop. If you need anything at all that you think we might have at our Resale Shop please contact us. We have and will continue to donate to anyone who has any needs.
